You might want a runner to get to Droknar Forge, go to Beacons Perch, and request a runner for 2-3k. Let him run you through Camp something, forgot, then Droknar Forge. From there, you can buy either Gladiators, Wvyerm, or Platemail. Platemail is 25 iron ingots and 4 steel for helms, boots, and gauntlets. 50 iron ingots and 8 steel ingots for legs. 75 iron ingots and 12 steel ingots for the chest. I don't know the other two, maybe other members can help you out on that one.
EDIT: You also need 1.5k to craft each armor. Last edited by Axel Revolver; Aug 26, 2005 at 08:21 PM // 20:21.. |

OR you can play through the game like a normal person and get to Droks when you are supposed to.

Yeah. Even though I'm on my 4th character! I should play through the storyline and not skip ahead. Brilliant idea. |

I got run there, got armor and then went back and played through the game. could care less I jumped, saved me a bunch of money on buying armor along the way... I don't have a warrior so no idea what you could be looking at for materials. But 1.5k to craft each piece and usually 75 cloth, leather or tanned hides plus 15 or more of the secondary material.
Camp Rankor is the middle point and has a skill trainer. |

You don't need to go to Draknors just to Camp Raknor and then use the henchies the rest of the way I won't spoil the henchies though. We lost our runner when I took my Warrior down there at Raknor so I went on my own and made it in leass than 10 min.It is easy from Raknor it is just finding your way is hard part.
I would suggest knights. Last edited by Age; Aug 26, 2005 at 06:42 PM // 18:42.. |

Noobs just beg for money and act stupid...
newbies get there and ask questions regarding the 70% of the game they skipped so far. |

Newb = newbie = someone new who doesn't know his/her way around. Nothing wrong with that. N00b = idiot = someone who's just stupid. Generally people you don't want on your party. I didn't mean to lash out at you Hemii, sorry if I sounded like that. But it's generally not a good idea to get run there with your first character. Some people don't like the story and missions; I think they're mostly easy. If you're trying the run yourself, good luck and don't let the Wurms get ya. |

Can non-warriors actually make the run? A group of us tried about 5 times last night and failed every time. A 20th level warrior offered to run us for the fun of it, we all died in the first 30 seconds, he made it all the way.
I'm 18th level, close to 19th necro/monk, and I lasted longer than the others, but still can't imagine I could make it without help from someone l ike the warrior we had. Isn't the run geared towards warriors? Bragg |

Rangers can also make the run.. but it is not as easy for them to get past all of the knock downs...
